What is it that separates the successful from the unsuccessful?
One of the most powerful traits of a successful entrepreneur is their ability to be looking at the same thing as everyone else, but to see something completely different.
Successful people see everything as an opportunity... even the things that would typically be perceived as a problem.
Their mind has been rewired to view everything in front of them as an opportunity for further abundance.
In permaculture, there is a well-known quote from Bill Mollison that really highlights this ability to look at things differently:
"You do not have a slug problem, you have a duck deficiency."
See, when the situation is looked at from a different perspective, we're able to look at a problem under a whole new light.
In this example, slugs destroying crops is an opportunity to integrate a system that would lead to significantly more fertile soils, without any additional effort, thanks to the natural behaviours of ducks.
Without the 'problem' of too many slugs, there would be no solution of increased soil fertility and more nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables.
Audrey, what are the 'slugs' in your coaching business, and what are the 'ducks' that you need to turn the problem into an opportunity?
If you'd like some help with uncovering what your 'ducks' could be, send me a DM, and we can find them together.
